Jason Shen M.D.
Board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine, Dr. Shen is committed to helping his patients have healthier hearts. "While I was an intern, I discovered that helping people with heart disease was one of the most effective ways of returning patients to good health", he says.
Dr. Shen is an interventional cardiologist, performing invasive procedures such as angioplasties, pacemaker implants, cardiac catheterization and stent placements.
He earned bachelor's degrees in biology and French from Washington University College of Arts and Sciences in St. Louis, Missouri. He then obtained a medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Shen has had many articles and commentaries published. He is particularly interested in coronary and peripheral angiography and interventions, permanent pacemaker implantations and transesophageal echocardiography.
When he isn't in the office or in surgery, Dr. Shen enjoys windsurfing, scuba diving and modern art. He is fluent in Cantonese and French.
